Amy Krouse Rosenthal invented WRITER'S BLOCK PARTY as an audio literary magazine featuring music, stories, and other performance pieces by artists she likes... it evolved into a regular feature on WBEZ, Chicago's NPR station.

On one particularly strange episode, I heard Tony and his longtime music buddy Devin Arkin performing a series of strange 30-second commercial songs for such products as El Palmar Burrito House, Similac, and the U.S. Post Office. I'm pretty sure they were not endorsed by the actual products, but when I get my hands on the recordings I will share them here.
Anyway, Tony was asked to become a regular contributor, and he decided to create a "musical advice column," in which he wrote original music in response to problems submitted by real listeners. It was, no disrespect to little people, "short lived," but here are a few of the results:
Listen to "Sexy is Ugly"
Listen to "Porch Rot City"
Listen to "Down but not Under"
