In 2005, Random House released ENCYCLOPEDIA OF AN ORDINARY LIFE, a funny and serious non-fiction guide to one person / every person's life by Tony's friend and frequent collaborator Amy Krouse Rosenthal. Before THAT, Amy asked Tony to write a theme song for the book, probably because nobody told her that books don't have theme songs.
Tony ended up recording three new songs for the project, and they became the cornerstone for a 10-year retrospective CD (Tony Rogers: Encyclopedia Vol. 1) you can find on Amazon.com and iTunes.
Many of the lyrics are lifted straight out of the book, some are paraphrased, and some are just comments about the size of Amy's waist. The book is incredible, you should buy it at amazon.
